The Crying Tent, 2017

Materials: reused drop cloths, indigo dyed army cotton. Turmeric, rosemary, coastal sage, passion vine, eucalyptus natrually dyed cotton.

A tent installed on the CCA campus during finals week as a place for people to wipe their eyes and calm down from the stress of whatever is going on in their life. The medicinally dyed strips hanging inside the tent are dyed with plants that have anti-anxiety, anti-depressant, and inflammation (for puffy eyes after crying) properties.
